Very clear and easy to understand. I also purchased the book. The book was more detailed and also well worth it. If your looking at learning to turn pens, don't hesitate buy it.

This video motivated me to turn my first pen - not a perfect one, but pretty good for a start. Some of the DVD sound good be better but it's not an obstacle. Thanks for producing this. However if you've kinda already 'broken your teeth' on some basic pens, then just get the Disk II DVD - the tips and tricks are invaluable, and the other pen styles are good to learn.
