I'm very glad I decided to purchase this DVD. I'm a tough rater but I have to give this an excellent rating. Very clear and easy to understand. I also purchased the book. The book was more detailed and also well worth it. If your looking at learning to turn pens, don't hesitate buy it.

A very clear and helpful guide for a total novice to turning. This video motivated me to turn my first pen - not a perfect one, but pretty good for a start. Some of the DVD sound good be better but it's not an obstacle. Thanks for producing this. Glad to have it.

A great guide getting into pen-turning if you've never done it. However if you've kinda already 'broken your teeth' on some basic pens, then just get the Disk II DVD - the tips and tricks are invaluable, and the other pen styles are good to learn.
