Simply align material flush with the outside edge of the guide block and lock into place with the post handle hold-down clamp and positionable locking knob. Abrasive strip locks the workpiece in place to avoid shimmy or movement. Run the jig along the fence until you cut into the 1" hardwood guide block, which eliminates tear-out.
  • Guide block is easily replaceable to accommodate different profiles.
  • Durable phenolic material base measures 7-7/8" wide x 13-1/2" long.
  • With ergonomic handle for excellent control and comfortable grip.
Allows you to easily make cuts on the ends of rail doors.
NOTE: When using the Coping Sled for the first time, your bit will be cutting a small rabbet in the phenolic base. This is normal and required to minimize tear-out for all future cuts.

Gosh but this jig saved me lots of trouble with the wood moving slightly and avoiding the bit dip. It also worked great with smaller styles and rails. I fixed the bit eating the base by raising the bit a bit. Great time and wood saver.

I fastened a 3/4 thin strip to ride in my miter slot on my craftsman table it keeps the plate away from the router bit and hense no damage, just raise the bit to match the cope, make sure the strip is 90 % to the edge

Sweet little sled. Simple to use. Even with the phenolic in front of the stop torn up it still works great.

When I installed the four screws to secure the clamp to the base, the base split wide open on me. I had to make a new base to replace the split one. Even though it was predrilled it split almost immediately when I started the screws.

Editor's note:  Our customer service team at 800-376-7856 is available to assist with replacement Gary.

"Have been a return customer for a number of years, and a recent experience has really cemented that bond for me. After using my Rockler lighted magnifying lens for a few months, one of the wires from the battery pack came loose. When I contacted Customer Service to inquire about sending the unit back, they instead sent me a brand new one - no questions asked, no return expected, no charge whatsoever. This simple step - coupled with top quality, innovative products - ensured my repeat business more than any other advertising technique or gimmick could ever do. Keep up the good work, Rockler!"
