The directions were clear, the photos helped, it was quick to assemble. The only problem was after careful measuring before cutting pieces, we still had to trim several of the pieces when assembling. This may have been due to the fact that our plywood was a little warped.

This is the first project I have built actually in process from a U-bild plan set. I am not sure who they hired to draft these plans, but the drafting is terrible. Have they ever heard of hidden lines? When one part is located behind another and you show that hidden part, you should use a dashed line rather than a solid line. I accept some blame for not mocking it up first, but that does not excuse poor drafting. If you purchase these plans, attempt to assemble the project without glue, using clamps or similar means prior to using nails and glue. You will probably save yourself a headache. Also, if you do not use full 3/4" plywood harder to find be sure to account for that. I would not purchase another plan from U-Bild, look at their picture and draft your own plans, you will be better off.

This plan is not for inexperienced woodworkers. Step by step descriptions are vague and the drawings do not lend themselves to easy interpretation. I ended up using the cut list and then assembling by my own methods. I would not recommend these plans.
