This project was a Wurlitzer Organ my wife had inherited, she played it for several years, but then age and time had rendered several of the keys inoperable the cost to repair it would have been significant. She didn't want to just set it out to the curb so we removed all the electronics with the intention of making something with the wood. After looking at it I said I would make it into a computer desk. I put pigeon holes inside where circuits once were and a shelf where speakers and elcronics used to be, I used birch plywood to make the new desk surface, shelf, keyboard tray and pigeon holes this was covered with three coats of "PolyShades" Antique Walnut finish to match the finish of the Organ. The Tray slide was easy to install and adjust it works very well and was the complimenting touch to my project.

Product was used for a computer desk that is a built in. The project is in a room that is being remodeled as a library/den and will not be completed for several weeks. The desk is functional however and the keyboard slide has been installed and works well to save space on the desk surface. The slide is of quality material and works smoothly and provides a sturdy surface for the keyboard.
