These are a good grommet for a table that doesn't receive a lot of use from multiple people. We have installed 3 of these in a conference room table that is used constantly. The caps have long since vanished, and the cable organizer sections keep poping out from people pulling the cables out fast. I would keep this grommet on a personal desk.

I used 2 of these grommets on a personal desk. They are good quality and look very nice.
It is important to note that the measurement of the grommet is at the diameter of the outside rim, not the inside ring that actually goes into the hole. I didn't realize this, and so the grommets are a little smaller than I needed them to be, but still fit fine with a some careful placement.

The product is good, but the way you have them sized is not correct. When sizing an item like this please use the hole size as the labeling for the size of this type product. This could ruin somebodies day by drilling the wrong size hole.

I just finshed my very first woodworking project (A workbench of course...couldn't do much without it!) and I can honestly say I did it mistake-free because of the advice from Charlie at the Rockler Store on S.Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis.
He sold me what I needed, not what I thought I needed. (which would have been about twice as much!) He was very patient with all my questions, and gave me great advice on how to do things.
