Painting and finishing projects are quick and easy with this affordable solution for larger spray jobs.
Spray gun has 1/4" air inlet, 2-speed trigger control, spray pattern control knob on side of gun, and adjustable spray width, air inlet and fluid outlet. Non-bleeder type, gravity feed external mix.
- 1.4mm stainless steel needle and nozzle set for primer work and spraying base coats and clear coats.
- Includes locking pressure regulator with gauge and 600cc plastic paint cup.
- Die-cast aluminum body with anodized finish.
- 15-50 PSI operating pressure.
- 7-9 CFM air consumption.
Accessories (sold separately):
- Hands-free spray gun holder easily attaches to bench or wall with pre-drilled mounting holes. Funnel/strainer holding ring makes filling paint cup easy.
- Disposable inline spray gun air filters help reduce painting defects. Removes moisture, oil vapor and rust particles that pass through conventional filters. High flow design minimizes pressure drop to spray gun. 100 PSI maximum pressure. Attaches directly to the air inlet of the spray gun.
- Inline gravity feed mesh filters remove dirt particles from paint to protect against defects. Inserts into spray gun fluid inlet prior to cup installation.
- Plastic paint cup (600ml capacity) for use with 38269 Gravity Feed HVLP Spray Gun only. Includes vented screw-on lid.
- Compatible with #23768 3M #2 Adapter for EZ-Clean Spray System

I bought this spray gun after spraying a couple projects with a high pressure sprayer and losing most of my paint, poly, and laquer to overspray and the exhaust fan. I have used about 1.5 quarts to spray 5 coats on a 48" vanity, 48" medicine cabinet, 42x80 china cabinet and all of the doors/drawers/drawer fronts I am using this gun to spray general finishes poly -alkyd topcoat, green label gallon jugs. it has worked wonderful when you do your part and clean the gun, the filter, and have the lighting needed to see what you're spraying. I set my regulator to 35 psi, and clean out with acetone.

I purchased the plastic paint cup for a back-up on my Tool Shop HVLP gun. The price is significantly lower than cups from the major manufacturers. It fits my gun perfectly and does not leak. I spray mostly water based coatings and needed a back up for those times I spray solvent based coatings.

This gun was my first experience with spraying and I thought the gun was easy to use (although the directions were lacking) and the results were excellent. My first project was a complete bedroom set including 2 nightstands, armoire, sleigh bed, dresser, and mirror. They came out awesome.

This sprayer works great for spraying wood finish – once you figure out how to run it. The more you back-out the screw, the more product is delivered. Once you tinker with the amount of air and product, and get your spraying technique mastered so as not to create runs/sags, this thing works just as well as something twice the price. A person with no paint gun experience will have a steep learning curve. Three cautions: Buy some more shop lights. Not being able to see what you are doing causes 99% of the problems others have complained about. Buy extra filters. The small strainer that comes in the gun is junk. Most important: You MUST clean this thing immediately after each use – or else. I spray “hot” polyurethane that dries enough to sand in 15 minutes. Once that stuff sets up in the gun – throw it away and buy a new one.

As a custom cabinet builder I have used many different guns to finish my cabinets. This gun works as well, if not better, than my Binks and Finishline guns for spraying laquer. At this price you can't go wrong.

The product seems to be well built. This will be my first attempt to use an HVLP spray gun....Now let's discuss the inclosed instruction manual....As with all products manufactured overseas, this manual leaves a lot to be desired...The section on operating the tool is poor at best...There are no instructions on adjusting the sprayer. For example, Item #3..Keep fluid output as small as possible....." How is this accomplished??
I consider Rockler products to be among the best woodworking products on the market....I do wish someone would these foreign made tools instructions in "English".

Regulator didn't work and had to be repalaced. Plastic lid is hard to install cap and if not done just right and spending alot of time to refill the can it will drip on your project leaving you to start over with the entire finish or refinish project. I would not recogmend it to beginer or pro.
