I have owned many lathes (Jet, Woodfast, Record, Delta) and this is by far the best. In use for production work. I enjoy the fit and finish every time I fire it up. The 3520B is also very good. I went with the 4224 only because I needed 24" throw between centers. Otherwise the 3520B would be in my shop.
Best buy for the money and is as good or better than other lathes that are far more expensive.
