Magswitch Magnetic Table Saw Featherboards

These magnetic featherboards deliver fast, easy setup and adjustment anywhere on a steel table — you’re not limited to miter slot locations! Patented Magswitch technology allows powerful magnetic force to be turned on and off. Simply turn knobs clockwise to engage the magnets; turn counter-clockwise to remove or adjust featherboard.

Suitable for use on table saws, jointer tables, band saws, shaper tables and any other ferromagnetic woodworking apparatus. 30mm pro table featherboard measures 8" wide. 20mm standard table featherboard is 7" wide. Both are 7" long x 2" high. 30mm have 155 lb. breakaway, each magnet. 20mm has 95 lb. breakaway, each magnet.

1) Submitted by Tim Weis, from Athens, TN on 11/10/2009 Customer Rating: Despite other positive reviews, I was reluctant to believe that it could be that easy and that strong. I was so impressed at Magswitch's performance on my table saw that it swayed me to get the Bench Dog iron router table. Yes, you can get it to slide if you really try, but I have put it on top of sawdust (not recommended) and it still held under normal use. I have put the magnets on top of the miter groove where I thought it would slip, and it held. One review complained that it took up too much room. I found the opposite, it works on rips that are too wide for my old feather board to work. I also have made great use of it as a magnet to pick up screws and nails that I have spilled (I am a clutz). Just hold the pile of nails over the container and turn the magnet off... so easy to use.

It's Soooo simple to attach to the table, and it's amazingly strong. Works better than I had hoped for. Along with the verticle attachment it makes all power tool operations far safer. One of the best shop aids I've ever bought.

Our main focus in the shop is safety first (there are four of us) and all like the ease and strength of the product.
