I have only made circles with this so far but have been very impressed with how solid this piece of equipment is. I even made several rings as little as 1/8" thick 15" inches in diameter from MDF and it was accurate enough to cut the ring perfectly. So far a fool proof product.

Excellent jig. As a novice the thought of cutting an oval is intimidating at best. The Rockler Ellipse/Circle Router Jig made cutting a breeze! I cut 2 identical oval tops for a couple of end tables I refurbished and had zero problems. Easy to adapt to a Skill brand router. Would recommend to anyone!

Good product, but came with a crack in it. I needed to use it so didn't bother trying to exchange it, just went ahead with it. Not sure why it cracked, Rockler should package better. Still ... good product.
Editor's note: A call to our customer service at 800-279-4441 and will be able to replace that for you Jamie.

This jig was bought to do eyebrow arching in my den/library for each partition of my built-in project. At first I made a custom homemade wood jig to retrofit the jig to my old craftsman router from the 19th century and it worked but was cumbersome. I needed a new router anyway and purchased a porter/cable that was designed for this jig and it fit like a glove. With the right bits and router this jig is great! It has very smooth glide action across work piece from its phonolic construction. Very easy to use with instructions listed on the jig itself.

The thing works great. You just have to make sure everything is tight. I had one failure where the pin came out of the pivot point and it made a big mess out of my wood, an oak barrel head, and snapped the bit. $$ Other than that it's doing real well.
