Just received my 9 piece set of power bore bits. After using two of them, I find they cut easily producing a very clean true hole. Very satisfied with the service and product.

Bits seem even better than stated in the ad. The holes are very clean and a good flat bottom. Quality seems to be very high and hopefully they will last a long time. I would buy them again.

So far I have only tried the 1/4" and 5/16" bits drilling deep in hard maple and basswood. They cut very fast; so fast the chips backed up behind the cutters and made it difficult to retrieve the bit. Based on other reviews I may have fed too fast using a cordless drill at "fast" speed. When I use them again I will check to see if they need a touch-up sharpening.

I like to drill holes before using my benchtop mortiser, it takes away a lot of the work from the mortiser and I get more consistent results. These drills did a very good job with no overheating or burning, wich is a problem with Forstners bits.

Have not used as yet. Were on sale so I bought for future use as they sounded like they would do a good job.

I have the set and have used several sizes of the bits since getting them a few weeks ago. They are great and I would like to have them in larger sizes. My on concern is the 1/4" bit has a narrow central portion for the shank and I wonder if it might bend. The one time I used the 1/4" bit in 2" hardwood, it worked great.

These are the best wood drilling bits that I have ever used. They drill a very clean hole and an almost flat bottom - they are more convenient than Forstner bits for small diameter, deep holes.
