My first experience with a stacked dado set was with an 8" IKT form Lowes. After less than desirable results I did a little research and foung this 6" Oshlun set for $15 cheaper. I figured it was worth a try and if nothing else I would save a little $$$. I ordered the Oshlun set and returned the IKT set the next morning and am glad I did. The Oshlun set was MUCH better and well built than the IKT set. I am very well pleased with my purchase.

Have only used it on 3/4" MDF so far but this product works great in my Ridgid 3650. No complaints! recommended.

For years I dadoed with my router, so this is the first stacked set that I ever bought. I was surprised with the smooth cut that it made. I made a test cut in solid red oak and it was impressive. It was better and easier than any router dado that I had done. Both the shoulders and the bottom of the cut were completely smooth, with no tear out at all. I would highly recommend this product. As you already know, if you have dealt with Rockler, service is first rate.

Admittedly, this is the first Dado set I ever purchased. But, on first impressions this was an outstanding purchase. Solid, heavy construction with sharp carbide teeth. I’ve already made several cuts with it at various dimensions and have found that everyone of them was spot on. Highly recommended.

Awesome! I bought this set during the January sale to upgrade from my old steel dado set without spending a fortune to try it. I was skeptical at first when I saw the price compared to other brands, but the quality showed when I took it out of the box, and It works as advertised, a very smooth perfectly flat bottom cut! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone

Beginning woodworker. 1st dado set. Clean accurate cuts. Now I have to upgrade my table saw since it's arbor won't handle a 3/4" cut. For the price this is an excellent value and carbide tipped as well.

GREAT product! Even with my limited skills, it was easy to set up a perfect dado for 3/4" plywood. The shim set makes it easy to get an exact width & the cuts were clean with no tearout. I can not imagine that the $300 sets would do any better job.

Cuts with very clean profiles in hardwoods and Baltic birch. I am impressed by the heft of the solid chippers and the fit and finish of the product overall...quite a good buy.

I was very pleased with this Dado set. It cuts avery smooth bottom and has no tearout on crossgrain oak plywood. I do use a zero clearence insert though. It certainly compares to other higher priced sets.

Based on other reviews I purchased this product several months ago. When I got around to using it, I found it did not cut clean bottoms. I called customer service & they did not hesitate on sending me out a new dado set & a prepaid label to send back the old set. Customer service was awesome.
Oh, and the new set cuts perfect bottoms. Thanks Rockler.

This is my first purchase of a dado set. It was a reasonable price and it has worked very well in producing the results I needed to complete a bookshelf project. I'm very pleased with the product and the quick service of Rockler.

I had been looking around for a reasonably priced dado set for the last year. When I saw the Oshlun dado advertised my jaw dropped open. The price is phenomenal and mine was even better on sale. After reading the reviews of the product I decided to purchase the set. When I received the package from Rockler I opened it like a child on Christmas morning. And I must say that I was impressed with the heft of the dado set. The outside blades and chippers are flat and true, I detected no wobble what so ever. The carbide tips are impressive just the sheer size of them is amazing and then add to that how sharp they are and it all adds up to a dado set that performs extremely well and reliably. I have used it sparingly thus far on pine, oak, cherry, and walnut with amazing results. Crisp clean cuts that are well defined and flat with "no" splintering at all. I bought the set to make a kitchen nook for my wife and I am confident that the Oshlun dado set will make that job much easier. This dado set is a great product thank you for providing top quality products at an affordable price.

It's a pity that 6 stars aren't available. Even with my beginner-grade skills and saw, (Skil 3400 tablesaw), this set produces remarkably accurate dados, with crisp, clean corners. If I ever upgrade, it'll be to the 8" set - I can't imagine any better results from any set.

Best "bang-for-the-buck" dado set. Used it with my Ridgid TS2400LS 10" Table Saw. Easy setup and a nice clean cut. The only unrelated issue I had was trying to find a Ridgid dado throat plate (do they really exist somewhere?); ended up making a one.

I just received my stackable dado set and I am pleased. the reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because it chiped the veneer some and didn't cut a perfectly flat bottom dado, but for the money I would say it is a good deal.

This is my first dado set and I am very pleased with it. it gives very smooth nice clean cuts. Only gets 4 star because I have not found a way to cut 1/4 dado without having the teeth touch. The way the outer blades are set up 5 teeth then space 5 teeth there is no way to align the blades so that the teeth don't touch. You can minimize contact but the still touch. Other than that this is a great set. A little snug on the arbour, you just have to work it a little.

I wanted a 2nd set of dado because my other set needed to be sharpen. I purchase it base on the reviews it had received. Finally got a chance to use it after about 3 month and notice that it cuts nicely but the two outter blade cuts a little bit deeper and shows. So it doesn't cut a perfect flat bottom.
I wanted to make some boxes using a box joint. I Contacted Rockler and in less than 10 min. They were sending me a reaplcement set. Thumbs up to Rockler for their support! But the new set still did the same but not as severe. I decided to keep it & will just use it to cut dado that will not be seen. I'll use my older set for this project.

After having used mine for several months, while it cuts well and consistently, it is a pain to use because the blade sizes are not true. With the two cutters and four 1/8 inch chippers, instead of a 3/4" cut, I get about 45/64", which is not even close. So I have to mess with the spacers to get an exact cut. For other sizes the cut is off by between 1/32" to 3/64". NOT acceptable for a stacked dado set.
