Control two tools at the same time! Now you don’t have to remember to power the vacuum on and off during every cut — the i-socket does it for you. Automatically turns on the wet/dry vacuum or dust collector when the tool is powered on, and continues running for an additional 7 seconds to clean out the inlet pipe after the tool is powered off.

Technical Details:

On-board micro-controller controls the in-rush of current and delay off.
Designed for medium-duty work loads in the home workshop and on the job site.
Can be used with any standard 15 amp/125 volt wet/dry vacuum or dust collector system (max 1.0 HP) or power feed unit.

Incredibly useful device. Simply put: This is a MUST HAVE tool. I have one of these plus a large Shop Vac and all my tools that have a dust collection port get plugged in with this. The moment I saw the i-socket demonstrated, I knew this was a must own. Saves time, electricity from needlessly running your vac too long and effort to switch one thing on, then another... Definitely in the top three of my most used tools, possibly #1 since I use it on basically all my stationary tools and a couple portables.

I now own two of these switches. One I use for my miter box at work. The other is hooked into my miter box in my own shop. Awesome product. I use a shop vac at both places. If i need the vacuum elese where, I just unplug it and go. As always, Rockler delivers exactly as advertised.
