The mounting holes do lineup. I was confused at first on why they didn't, but I realized the holes are not at an equal distance apart. The mounting holes are located to form an rectangle, not a square. Buy the center tool to center the base with the collet. It makes it easier.

This thing is an engineer's pipe dream. The holes in the plate did not even come close to lining up with the mounting screws in the router body. I was eventually able to mount it to the Colt Palm Router only after recentering the plate to the router collet and then drilling new mounting holes in the plate.
On a more positive note, having the large plate on the router by itself is great and being able to use standard PC type guide bushing is a bonus.

Required expanding the mounting holes in order to get the bit centered in the template guide that I was using. I would have expected the plate to be a bit more precise than to require almost .030 inches of adjustment before it would work properly.
