Minwax® Stainable Wood Filler

Stainable and paintable latex formula wood filler is specially formulated to accept all Minwax penetrating wood stains. Quick drying, sandable and easy to clean up with soap and water. Ideal for reparing cracks, gouges, nail holes, knot holes and other defects in all types of unfinished indoor and outdoor wood surfaces.

Can be used with oil-based and water-based wood stain. Apply with putty knife. Dries in 2-6 hours.

1) Submitted by Jeffrey Lawn, from Virginia Beach, VA on 2/16/2009 Customer Rating: Filled nail holes on cherry wainscoting and this product would not accept their own stain. Had to replace all the stiles.

2) Submitted by Ken Nixon, from San Diego, CA on 3/24/2008 Customer Rating: Product is not stainable, I used it to fill cracks on a chair from the 1930's I stained the chair with Minwax stain and now I have to remove filler because it sticks out like lighting in the night sky.
