I now have 4 of these pipe clamps. When using oak, they are great because don't bleed into the project. The feet make it easy to lay it all out. Four is a good number.

These are good quality clamps. The feet give you good raised height as another customer said, but for the price, mostly for those of us who bought the pipes as well, it should had included the pads. I can't understand why not.

These are the only type of clamps to buy in my opinion.Especially, if you do not want to have clamps around that will not do the job you're attempting. These clamps and pipe are strong enough to do the job and will not bend or deflect in/outward. These clamps can be actually used to either; clamp together items, or spread them apart. Unlike some other clamps that use something other than a piece of actual pipe.
Wow, are these pipes shiny and great looking. Plus the do not leave marks on light colored woods.

The clamps are good. The wide base keeps it sturdy. My only concern is the accessories that comes with it. I put on the plastic footing and when I tighten the clamp the plastic start to slip off; I use wooden blockes instead. The plates that came with the clamps are reversed(came on both clamps I bought). I had to flip it around in order to tighten, otherwise when I tighten the clamp keep spinning pushing the other piece back. At an angle, you can see the name of the clamp. Other than that, great product.

These clamps are excellent. I have several of the Jorgensen ones as well. I prefer these as they are more stable and you can hang them on a piece of 1x material. As some mentioned they flex somewhat if your gluing up panels. But as any woodworker knows you must put clamps on both sides of lage panels being clamped. This counter acts any flexing which all clamps do. These are top quality clamps, try them you'll love them.

As one famous woodworker said, "You can never have enough clamps." These fit the bill perfectly. I like the largeer jaws for holding material. They can be made flexible, too, by having different lengths of pipe to put the clamp ends on. I would say a must-have addition to one's "collection" of clamps.
