These are the best designed pipe clamps on the market with the sure foot design, quality build material ready for accurate heavy-duty usage, predrilled holes for mounting wood blocks for pads, etc. I have sixteen of these clamps at various pipe lengths the Zinc pipe is excellent and well worth the investment for my projects.

I especially like the sure foot design. This allows room to turn the handle. I also like the built in hanger for easy storage. I am using the clamps with black pipe and will just cover the pipe when necessary to prevent staining of oak.

I have about half a dozen of these clamps and about to order more. I have a number of the Pony equivalents and the Sure-Foot Plus is superior in every way.
The two more important differentiators for this product are:
1. The larger, reasonably square jaws -- this provides more contact surface and largely self-squares the work. They're also good for reaching over edge treatments, molding, etc.
2. The high and wide bases/feet on the clamp ends make the clamps much more stable during setup and provide more clearance for operating the handle.
The handle also is a little larger that other brands, providing more leverage and control. The locking mechanism is strong and does not slip, even under very high pressure.
These are a great value and, as they say, you can never have too many :)
