No need to panic with our hands-free panic button. Just bump the “Stop Paddle” to quickly shut off power. Large, bright paddle is easy to find when you’re in a tight spot. Locate it near your hip or knee and you’ll never have to take your hands off the workpiece. Great for use with router tables or any workbench where you use a stationary power tool.

I built a modified version of Norm's Router Table. I used his design for the cabinet, except I made it smaller, added wheels, and used a solid door instead of Plexiglass. I also used the switch here, instead of the one he specified.
I did not build Norm's top of fence. I bought both.

Mounted my router on the right wing of my table saw. This was an absolute must add saftey feature. The large paddle makes it a breeze to shut the power off with my knee. In my opinion a must for any power tool like an older table saw, router table etc.

I've bought 3 of these and I may buy a 4th. I have one for my router table, one for an old 1.5hp molder I've restored, and one for my shop vac. I have the shop vac under the wing of my table saw along with a cyclone and I have this power switch mounted on a post in a central location next to the saw. It does what it's supposed to do. The big stop paddle is removable.

I had originally wanted the old school pushbutton switch for my antique table saw. I have had this switch hardwired in for about two months and it has performed in an exemplary fashion. I tend to "whack" the stop paddle fairly hard and it takes whatever I give it. I will definitely buy more of these as I continue to restore my vintage woodshop.
