I take incremental cuts and it does not labor my table saw nor does it seem to put much of a side load on the blade so I am not concerned about premature wear on the saw mechanism. For my purposes in a home shop it is just what I needed. No need to buy a high powered router and expensive large cove bits. It is well made and simple to assemble and put into use. I have tried to make my own jig in the past and clamp it to the saw table but this is much much better. I am glad I bought it!
