Inlace Acrylester #23 Black/Violet Pen Blank

Inlace Acrylester is a semi-translucent plastic that exhibits a remarkable irridescent shimmer. It is available in a huge variety of colors, each with a unique pearlescent pattern and amazing visual depth. Acrylester turns much like acrylic and can be polished to a gleaming finish. Each blank measures approximately 5" long x 3/4" square.

1) Submitted by Bill Perryman, from Stockton, CA on 11/21/2010 Customer Rating: Purchased two of these blanks at my local Rockler store. Turned one of the two as a slimline. This product is so translucent, you can see the brass pen tube right thru even the black acrylic. Would not suggest turning any pen design that has a wall thickness any thinner than 2mm or you will see the pen tube. Wish the stores had the same information about the blanks as the web so I could have saved my $.
