Due to the weight involved I felt that this product was the best for additional support. I was very pleased with the product and with the ease of installation. However, since this is the first time that I have installed a piano hinge I had to do some modifications to the box to ensure the lid would close down flat and would have liked to see some installation instructions. I would use in the future.

I built them 10 years ago and the original screws loosened where secured into "end grain". (I used MDF for the box.) The wrap around hinge seems to have solved that.
