Provides a neat face-grain patch for stair-building applications or any other 1-1/2" hole. Tapered sides ensure a snug, seamless fit. 5/16" thick. Tapers to 1-7/16" wide. 25 plugs per package. Available in Oak, Ash or Maple.

2) Submitted by Ken, from Ada, MI on 5/4/2011 Customer Rating: The quality was good. However, the diameter should have been slightly larger so it could be tapped into the hole and sanded smooth.

That meant removing the existing 1 1/2" plugs covering access to the fastenings. The ones you supplied were a perfect tight fit and were of high quality oak. They installed easily and stained and varnished so they can hardly be seen. Great product for a not-so-often repair.
