I use the duplicating pin on my 14" Rockwell/Delta band saw every week. Installation was very simple and adjusting easy. I use it every week and it works just fine. It has really helped me speed up the process!I recommend when using it for the first time to put the pin a little farther away from the cut line of the blade then you think which will keep your work piece farther away from the blade until you get use to how it handles. At first take extra care around turns so as not to cut into your template. Thanks again, Rockler

I used this guide on a set af chairs and it worked well. I didn't have any problem setting it up or taking it down when I finished the operation. After I bandsawed the pieces I took them over to the router table and used a pattern bit for the final trimming. The guide set it up nicely for that.

Great idea, poor instruction, or better said, no instruction. Only problem is does not come with any instructions to help out installation or operation.

The product itself is fine - works just as it should with no issues. I didn't even mind the lack of instructions that others here have noted, it is pretty self-explanatory: remove guide block set screws, replace with appropriate hardware included (which is obviously longer than OEM), install guide pin and nuts. What I had an issue with is the included hardware. Description says that it fits Delta 14" saws, which it does, but the correct hardware is not included. Delta uses M8 1.25 set screws, while the closest the kit comes with is 5/16 NC18. Good product (I got rid of my homemade jig in favor of this), but please include proper hardware!

Installation instructions would be helpful, but most of us guy's don't read instructions anyway. It only took about 10 minutes to install and adjust. I bought it to make a few adirondack chairs, benches,& swings. Works great. The only reason I didn't rate it excellent is the lack of directions.(Used mine on a 14 inch Jet bandsaw.)

I thought it would be ideal for duplicating parts, I ordered it at the same time I ordered the Carter Bearing guides for my Delta bandsaw, it really looked like a hassle to use with the Carter guides as the bearings are individully adjustable with no set postition for the screws.

This device has no instructions and does not appear to come with the hardware needed to fit the Powermatic 14 as it claims it does. I really wanted this to work, what a let down.
Editor's note: This is secured to your guide block/bearing studs by selecting only the hardware from the hardware pack that matches the threading size on a given saw. On some saws you can use existing hardware that holds in the guide blocks.
