Rockler Deluxe Router Fence

With an overall height of 8", this fence is perfect for raising panels vertically, shaping base molding and grooving the edges of wide boards. It also works great for everything a smaller fence can do. Full-length top fence provides continuous support across the gap, while the bottom fences are easily adjusted for different bit sizes. Included Bit Safety Guard (67157) keeps your fingers away from the bit. Heavy-duty aluminum fence provides excellent stability and a perfectly square reference surface. As you’ve come to expect from Rockler fences, all adjustments are simple and tool-free.

It's the first I've gotten an item with the main support machined flat and perpendicular, especially one cut from a aluminum extrusion. The fences are flat and even their edges are eased. WELL DONE!!!

I bought this fence, some accessories and the mounting plate for my router. The fence is AMAZING. Once I add the T and Miter tracks to the table, I'll have a very professional setup. Rockler definitely hit a home run with the solid feel of the fence, including the mounting base, t-slots and high fence. By the way....I continue to be impressed with Rockler's shipping speed...I always get shipments within 1 to 2 business days of placing the order.

3) Submitted by William Piekney, from Vienna, VA on 10/16/2008 Customer Rating: I ordered this port to go with the tall deluxe router fence, which I wanted primarily to accept a three inch raised panel bit. The dust port was unsatisfactory for my purposes, as the Fein dust extractor hose (which fit my older Rockler dust port) would not fit this one -- the port is too wide. I will have to fashion an adaptation of my own design or find some other solution.

It's construction, details and terminations makes this fence a super product. Easy to assemble and use. Its a rock solid fence to be use on any router table design. At present I'm using it on my raise panel doors construction and it give a super support for vertical route using the vertical straight bit. At this price it's a winner for any woodworker..
