Enjoy the
rewards of precisely fitting joints and perfectly tuned machines! This multi-
purpose digital height gauge is accurate to within 0.001". It can be used to set the exact
height of your blade or bit on the table saw, router table and a host of other
machines. You can raise the gauge to the desired height and raise the blade
to match, or you can set the caliper on the bit and raise it until the display
reads the correct height. It’s also an ideal tool for leveling the knives and
setting the depth of cut on your jointer. Heavy, solid steel base provides
maximum stability. Changes from inches to millimeters and zeroes out with
the push of a button.

Accurate depth of cut is critical for assemblies. When cutting dadoes on the
table saw, for example, a small error in the depth of cut is quickly doubled
when the two end panels are assembled into a cabinet. This digital height
gauge provides accurate readings to within 0.001" to eliminate any error and
ensure a smooth glue up.
- Accurate to within 0.001"
- Height ranges from 0" to 5"
- Simply push a button to switch from inches to millimeters
- Zero out to table or base level with the push of a button
- Heavy duty solid steel base provides maximum stability.

When you have a working battery, this gauge works great. However, I find this thing eats batteries like crazy. I purchased an analog one with a dial and put this one away. Not everything is better in digital.

Love the product - will have many uses, beyond the obvious. Would have been great if there were instructions included. I received the gauge. The display continued blinking, when on. Finally went online and found instructions, that said if the display blinks, change the battery. The battery shipped in the gauge was insufficient. Fortunately, they shipped with an extra battery, which corrected the blinking issue.

When the gauge 1st arrived and I took it out of the box, it was on and would not turn off, zero or change display type from mm to inches. Because I had a similiar experience with a much cheaper digital gauge, I tried removing the battery for a few minutes. That worked, but display was flashing off and on. A few days later I was able to install a new battery, no further problems. The indicator arm seems a little tight on the upright bar, if I try to use a blade or router bit to raise the indicator, the base is not heavy enough to hold the entire unit from raising with the blade. Overall though I am pleased with this product, the accuracy is fantastic.

To come right to the point, how did I ever do without this amazing tool before? Setups are so much easier and faster and every cut is "right on the money". There's no "guestimating" and what you see is what you get. Why did I not get one of these sooner?

It is a great product if you know how to use, like everything else. I'm always happy when I receive something new and I learn how to properly use and its applications, this one was very easy, very affordable and good quality; Thanks Rockler.
