Leigh Super 12'' Dovetail Jig

Extraordinary joint making capability at an exceptional price point! Cut variably spaced Through & Half-blind dovetails easily and accurately. Infinitely adjustable one-piece fingers are easily positioned for any joint pattern, and you are always guaranteed a half pin at each edge of the joint. Rout half-blind pin boards and tail boards at the same time. The finger assembly can also produce two sizes of box joints, 5/16” and 5/8”. Adjustments for fit can be made in increments of .002”. You can even install the included crosscut fence and the dovetail finger assembly becomes a sliding dovetail template. Available in three widths: 12”, 18” and 24” to satisfy the needs of every woodworker and every budget.

Highly recommend also purchasing the VRS attachment to keep the dust down and provide a stable platform for you router to ensure accurate cuts.

My jig came with a slightly distorted finger (getting it replaced) and the depth guides were actually installed backwards at the factory. Once corrected my results have been startling. Nice tight joints in your complete control. Very good price for an item with this capability. Instructions are an 8 out of 10. I will be getting the accessory router support with vac attachment. The jig works fine without it but the added stability is always nice.

The attachment doesn't get in the way and it moves smoothly with the router. The jig itself is very well designed. The manual is excellent walking you through every type of joint you can make in very easy to understand language with very helpful pictures walking you through each step. The DVD that is mentioned is not yet available, so you'll get a "IOU" paper with a number to call to get it. The same goes for the wooden bit box if you buy the accessory kit.
