Seats four adults. Canopy for shade. Small table with cut-outs for drinks.
8 ft. long by 6.5 ft. wide by 8 ft. tall.
All parts required for assembly can be purchased at a local hardware store. Parts needed are Galvanized pipe, Carriage Bolts, nuts, washers and screws.

We were asked by some of our customers for a garden glider. We found your plans and this is the finished product.
Reading the plans and all the notes prior to beginning the project was very helpful. The plans were easy to follow, and the templates were great.
We built it from Louisiana cypress and it is finished with three coats of exterior polyurethane for a lasting finish.

This was a winter project, the plans are very good, but some steps
are not shown .
the swing is made out of oak with ipe an purple heart trim
the frame is douglis fur, an the drink holder is purple heart an walnut trim.
the canopy is cedar, an everything is covered with 3 coats of poly
the only changes I made are to the seat angle , I like to lay back more
must make a lot of patterns, an if you build the frame in the shop you
will have to take it apart to get it out the door.
two people are needed to assemble the swing
I had a lot of fun building this swing
