Freud's Quadra-Cut™ Router Bits Feature an Exclusive 4 Cutter Design!

For the cleanest finish for routing the edges of hard or soft wood, woodworkers can look to Freud’s new Quadra-Cut™ router bits. These unique, patented bits employ four cutting edges, versus the industry standard of two, for a flawless finish on the most delicate of materials.

Two of the carbide cutters have an upshear angle to remove most of the stock. Then the pair of downshear cutters make a final cut to produce an ultra clean edge.

Industry standard bits that only have two cutters can leave fuzz and splinters on the top surface, especially in cross grain cuts, but Freud’s new Quadra-Cut bits leave a surface that requires no sanding or rework.

For years I have purchase inexpensive router bits. That practice has come to an end with the purchase the Freud Quadracut. The finish was so smooth there was very little need for sanding. I will not miss the hours of sanding. I will definitely be purchasing more of the bits.

I am very pleased with the results of the Quadra-cut bits. Even on end grain they leave a smooth clean edge requiring much less sanding. I will be purchasing more of them.

I like the results from the Quadracut Freud because it requires minimal sanding clean up and causes no burning. Very pleased and highly recommend this bit.

I used this Freud Quadra router bit for the first time. In all my years of using my router, I have NEVER had such a smooth cut. I never even sanded the wood after it was routed. I will always purchase Freud Quadra bits in the future. I used it on a piece of Bolivian Rosewood, purchased from Rockler, in a Model 600/3HP Ryobi Plundge Router, at a speed of 16,000 RPM.
You can not go wrong. Thank you Rockler for all you do, to make the world of woodworking what it is today.

I make a lot of jewelry and keepsake boxes. I used to spend a good deal of my time sanding the end grain on the box tops. The last one required no sanding at all. I would recomend these bits. Real time savers.
