1) Submitted by Blake, from Grand Junction, CO on 3/13/2011 Customer Rating: As a custom finisher, I don't think I could work with out a PPS system. Having had this system for two years, I won't ever go back to not using them. I use about 75% less solvent for cleaning and spend half the time cleaning guns. Keep the lids sealed and you can store most anything in the liner. Keep the screw on ring relatively clean and it'll never fail. Pretty easy to use. I would strongly recommend this to any painter.

My spraying quality has improved with the built-in product filter. On thing that is not addressed in the sales information is the potential product storage in the sealed container. I can save the unused product to be used for the next coat on the following day by simply sealing the container, cleaning the gun, storing the product overnight and using it the next day.

However it is not great if you are planning to use it in an application where you have to refill it all the time, because refills are a major pain. Also the liners are way to much money to throw away if your a small business owner like me.

But,if you store your finish for a day or two, the screen clogs and you have build-up around the nipple. The finish also leaches into the threads of the main cup after a few uses, and the retaining ring is very difficult to get off. this also screws up the air seal. You usually find this out when you're spraying and the cup starts to drip big gobs of finish all over. I'd rather spend a little more money and buy the real cups and clean them.
