Now you can get the superior durability and finish of Norton 3X in a convenient sanding sponge. Right angles make sanding corners a cinch, while the spongy core conforms to slight surface irregularities. Made from a superior grade of abrasive that cuts better and lasts longer than conventional aluminum oxide. Stearate coating helps keep it from loading up with resin and finish for a longer usable life. Sponge measures 2-5/8"W x 4-1/2"L x 1" thick. Sold singly.

I keep thinking that the idea is brilliant in that the sponge will readily conform to odd shapes. Alas, I am always disappointed by the inferior cutting action. They seem to cut poorly and clog up quickly. Usually after 10-15 minutes of effort I end up using some other method. They are advertised as reusable after a cleaning but they seem to work even less effectively after a washing.
