I didn't buy this for the lefty/righty feature, I bought it because it had the incremental markings such as 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 etc. Many tapes measures just have the lines and as I get up there in years the eyes don't work as good as they use to. So based on that I'm very happy with it. It's also much sturdier than the cheaper ones I've acquired over the years. I'm happy with the purchase.

I purchased one of these about a year ago. This is the only tape measure I use. I like being able to get measurements going both ways without having to twist my head around and read it or swapping sides of the table. This is just a good sturdy tape measure.

This is the best thing to come on the market since the hammer. I just bought my 4th one and have 1 where ever I have a need for one, beats going up and the stairs all the time.

I like the scale and the compact size. I used it for about a month and then discovered the tab at the end of the tape was not calibrated correctly. When you pull the tape using the tab from the end of the board, it was 1/8" short over 12". I compared it against two other tapes and against a steel rule to confirm it was this tape. Useless.
Editor's note: Our customer service team at 800-376-7856 will be able to assist you with a replacement for the defective tape Bernie.

Excellent product for my business. Employess, (left and right handed) love this tape measure because of the easy-to-read increments. Not too heavy either. Great product.

I love this tape. I've had it for a while and the only complaint I have is it's stand-off. I wish they made the tape a little fatter. The pad is really handy. I just erase it with a little spit and rub it with my thumb.

I have used this tape measure for a long time. Its great for measuring either side of the cut on the tablesaw. It is clearly marked down to 1/16, rubber coated so it won't mar the workpiece or slip in my hand. It even has a pencil sharpener. I love it.

It was bigger than i anticipated but the larger size numbers is great for my older eyes. If it were just a little smaller it would fit my hand better, but its a great tape.

This is the best tape measure I've ever used. I use the dual scales a lot, I like the little note pad (if you get a stubborn mark on it, fine sandpaper will clean it up) and the pencil sharpener can be handy as well. I'm going to get a couple more, because just one is easy to lose.

As a lefty it was always a issue using a standard tape measure this product solves that problem. Tape opperates very nicely.

Scale printing is too small and very confusing if you are accidentally using the wrong side of the tape. 68 looks like 89.
Too hard to clean off pencil markings on the "tablet" area of the housing.
