Introducing a brand new approach to dust collection! A unique, segmented design allows FlexForm Hose to twist, bend, expand and/or collapse to a desired shape and length, then firmly hold that position — resulting in virtually unlimited versatility. This ability to bend around obstacles, expand or contract to perfectly fit a given space, and maintain its shape makes FlexForm Hose ideal for tight spots and tricky dust collection applications where conventional hose just won’t work. You’ll find countless ways to use this clever product. Available in both 2-1/2" and 4" diameter sizes.
Additional features/specifications:
- Expands to three times its collapsed length, from approximately 12" to 36"
- Made from durable polypropylene plastic.

I am installing a new 4" dust collection system in my shop and I had a very difficult turn that I had to run my piping around. This hose worked great.

I orginally purchased this for my drill press, but it works so well collecting dust right off the mitersaw blade I haven't moved it since. I am able to get the hose to stay real close to the back of the blade for good pickup while easily being able to adjust it went needing to swing the blade. I fixed the far end to a small board that is easily clamped to the tool/bench of choice for support where ever needed for a portable solution. Great tool for pin-point dust pickup.

I like it because it's easy to bend into the shape that you need. I use it on my table saw where the dust port is about 4" off the floor. It works very well and allows the remaining hose to lay on the floor. I haven't had a hose tear since I have installed it.

I have the 2 1/2" version set up for my drill press and mortise cutter. In a word, this unit is SWEET.

I love it. When you need a small piece of hose and it is form fitting...perfect.
I will buy more. Great stuff.

Why didn't I know about this before. I got one 3 foot long section and plug it into any of several drops, and it does just what I want, without pulling on whatever it is near or connected to (router top, collecting tube, drill press, and so on.) Happy woodworker.

I recently purchased 2 more of the 4" version, and these things are GREAT!!! I've been waiting for something like this to come along to use for my drill press, mortiser, and lathe, and rockler did it. they stay in position once i fire-up my cyclone, and just work perfectly on my drill press. I would HIGHLY recommend these, as you will find uses for them you may not have initially. I've got an overhead guard on my tablesaw with a DC port on it, I use the 2 1/2" version on here so I can extend the hose to rotate the guard out of the way when I need to -- just works great, and I don't need to disconnect anything -- just an example.

I just put in new dust collection 4" pipe in my shop with a lot of drops with a blast gate on each one. Then I ordered one of these and boy did it work great on my drill press, now I can move the table up or down and with this hose I can make it longer or shorter which ever one that I need. Now my shop is much cleaner. So now I need another one it works great.

This is a very handy item to have around the shop for the hard to hook-up tools. I am using it on the drill press and it works as a quick extension on the vac hose also.

I replaced my old dust collector with an Oneida Cyclone. For my drill press, I had used a piece of shop vac hose. I wanted something better, so, when I saw this product, I knew it was what I wanted. It works extremely well, much better than I expected. And the price was more than fair, after receiving the hose, I was a little surprised that something that worked so well with such a reasonable price.

This hose is fine for machines that require short, formed situations. The extended length of this hose is only 3ft...I was looking for a 10ft length to attach to my chop saw that reached the floor where my 4" vacuum hose could connect. I will order another 2 1/2" hose the correct length, and find another location for this hose. It's a nice hose, just too short.

Great idea but I planned to use this with standard 4" PVC pipe as I have previously with other dust collection hose . The outside diameter is too large to fit into 4" fittings , inside diameter too small to slip over standard 4" PVC pipe. I think if I get some schedule 80 and turn the end down on the lathe I can make it work.

I bought this to make it easier connecting my Ridgid Tablesaw to my dust collector. It served the purpose just as I expected. Now I need to buy a quick-connect connector to make it easier to attach the hose leading to my dust collector.

The 4" hose is a little cumbersome at first, but once you get it set up its nice. I have it connected to the table top dust fitting, and it's stiff enough that it will hold the large fitting upright as long as the table supports the weight. Works real well for sanding.

2.5" is flexible and seems to hold it's position.
The main problem with it is that the opening is too wide. It will not hold onto a 2.5" nozzle/hose. I could tape it but rather not to.
It looks like I can cut the bottom off of a 6oz yogurt container and use it as a reducer. This isn't the most robust solution so I need to experiment some more.
The website pictures show it clamped to metal ducts so maybe this was never intended to be connected to a shop vac hose.
Editor's note: The 2-1/2" size fits 2-1/2" dust fittings. Shop vac hoses are tyically in the 2 to 2-1/4" range.
