Only drawback of saw is that miter gauge slots are not 3/4" standard and will not handle OEM accesories. I plan on having mine Milled. Blade insert on mine required tune up to keep wood from catching on back side

I've owned this saw for about 2 years and used it quite a bit. I've yet to encounter any issues with it, but as Phil did mention there are non standard miter slots. It has plenty of power and the belt driven motor is very smooth. No need to replace the belt yet. This saw comes with a 5 year warranty. It's light enough for one person to pick up and carry around which is a plus in a small workshop. You can place some weight on the bottom shelf if you want to keep it more stable when cutting. Really I'm no pro carpenter, but this works great for me cutting tapered jamb extensions and ripping boards to width.

I added an MDF fence to mine adding about 8" to the length of the fence. I also had a problem very early on with the belt, it broke after about the fourth use. So I would recommend that any serious woodworkers get something else.
