These slides were great. I had to remove my old metal slides and modify the back of the drawers for width of slide but they work great. Great time saver. Don't be afraid to buy these. My wife loves her "new" drawers.

I used your very fine wood "drawer slides" to repair a couple antique dressers. They worked well with only slight modification. I cut then a little shorter.
I am glad we found you on the internet. I also discovered today that a friend of mine, who is a professional cabinet maker, regularly purchases from you.
Thanks for the catalog, I for see doing more business with you in the future.

Order placed Monday evening, delivered on Thursday! Very easy to install in a c.1980 Thomasville chest of drawers....three drawers and three center sliders. Since there was no "slide stop" provided, I drilled two small holes thru bottom of each drawer appx 2" in from each end of drawerand "screwed" a slightly larger bolt into the plywood bottom which extended below the drawer bottom enough to catch on the frame of the chest and prevent the drawer from coming completely out. Should the drawers need to be removed, simply back out the small bolt and pull drawer completely out. Great product!

Best $9 I ever spent! My bedroom set is 40 years old. I refinished it last year, and except for one drawer, everything is perfect. When refinishing one of the ball bearing runners came apart. I looked for a year to find a replacement with on luck. I figured what the heck and ordered a two Classic Wood Center Mount Drawer Slides. It took all of about 20 minutes to measure, cut and install and they fit like they were custom made to the drawer! Only problem was there’s nothing on the slide to keep the drawn from pulling out. I drilled a small hole in a “blind” spot under another drawer, slipped in a 2” long ¼” bolt and all is well. Great buy and a tremendous bang for the buck!

I noticed this drawer glide while looking through the catalog and decided to try and repair a dresser drawer that we didn't use becuse the current glide was broken. I removed the old one, cut the new one to match and twenty minutes later gained a drawer that works like new again.

These slides are just awesome! You can cut them to length, cut a rabbet joint to recess them. I keep them in my shop because they work great on small drawers when you can't purchase a metal drawer slide.

I used these slides to replace metal and plastic slide on my dresser. I'm getting six more for our nightstands, I wish we had this type of slide on the furniture when new. Almost anyone can put these on, cut them to size and they work great. P.S. don't forget to order some wood glue.

I puchased these slidders after spending a lot of time trying to find these in various locations. I used the old slidders as patterns to cut the new slidders, which worked out perfectly. I added some pieces to the dressers above the drawers, so that there wasn't as much pressure on the drawer slidders as they are pulled out. These new slidders will last much longer then the old ones now that I have reduced the pressure on the slidders. I also added a drawer stop so that the drawer won't be pulled too far out. Great product and very resonable priced.

I have a 7 yr old dresser and one of the drawer slides got worn out to the point where we could not use the drawer anymore. I went to the furniture store where we purchased it and they looked at me like I was from Mars. They said they never get requests for drawer slides that break. Anyway no replacements were avaialble. Looking On line I found this one and it saved the day. I'm not very good at carpentry but it only took an hour to install this. I agree with Carl Taylor, measure your old slides and use them as your cut length. Incredible product for the money.

I purchased this to repair a dresser whch had a bottom "glide" that had split. Luckly, this glide was the exact size and I just had to cut it to length, drill new holes, and screw in place. Works like a charm. I didn't have to take the other part from the botton of the drawer, thank goodnes, as it was glued in so well, I don't think it would have ever come lose.
I have added Rockler to my bookmarks for other repair parts I might need in the future.

These are great. I searched for these all over locally to replace broken and/or missing ones on an old dresser and no one even seemed to have heard of anything like this, even though so many dressers have them! I found them on Rockler with a google search. Thank you Rockler. Caution to first time user: Since the two pieces come the same length, you might assume you can measure the piece that goes in the drawer, cut it off flush as directed, and cut the male part (the one that goes inside the chest of drawers) to the same length. Don't do it! Measure twice cut once, right? Match the skinny part that attaches to the dresser frame to what you are replacing. Chances are good it will need to be longer than the drawer piece. However there is an exception to this. If you cut the male part first, the one that goes inside the dresser, try the slide that attaches to the drawer at just under that length, which is not what the directions tell you to do. The directions say to cut it off flush at the back of the drawer. But since there is probably room behind the drawer, inside the dresser, you may be able to run the piece a little long on the drawer to make it easier to slide in, and able to be pulled out a little farther too. Also, I found that I had tightened the screws holding down the male part so tightly that the drawer would not slide in. I thought at first I must have put something on crooked. But it was easily remedied by loosening the screw!

I used three of the drawer slides to repair a used (but originally well-made) chest of drawers. Now the repaired drawers work better than the originals! I am NOT an expert woodworker, but the slides were easy to install, just cut them to length and re-drilled one of the holes. Great quality and exactly what was needed for the project. I will definitely buy these again! I would recommend these for anyone repairing drawers. Shipping was fast too.

I just installed wood 2 slides on my 20 yr old dresser draws. My dresser came with wood attached to the bottom of the dresser cabinet and a metal slide which was attached to the draw. As you can imagine the medal ate away at the wood over the years. The new wood ones I just purchased was easy to installed BUT wood on wood just don't slide as well as rollers would. It's just stiff when opening and closing the draw now but it works. I'd recommend them.

Excellent product, very sturdy. My sons' dresser slides were broken and every time you pulled a shelf out it fell, causing my 6 and 8 year old to master a balancing act of getting clothes out while holding up a dresser drawer. Like other posters have said, with minor trimmings, these slides fit perfectly, and I didn't have to buy a new dresser. Used these to replace 5 drawer slides, dresser is like new.

Bought the house in 1990 and a bathroom drawer was broken when we bought it. Kept putting off repairs for fear of expense and level of competence required to make suck repairs. Just kept using the broken drawer.
Boy! Did this make it easy! Thirty minutes, a little glue and two screws and the drawer works like new. One cut required and one hole to drill.
Should have found this company years ago.
