Treat your butcher blocks, cutting boards, turned bowls, and utensils to specialized wood care with this conditioner. Food-grade mineral oil penetrates deep and, along with water-resistant beeswax and carnauba wax, rejuvenates wood and prevents drying and cracking. The antibacterial waxes help repair knife-marks and protect the wood by keeping the mineral oil in and the moisture out. It soaks in really well, is odorless, and holds up well. I've found that I can go 4-6 weeks between conditionings on the work table. I've found it works much better than mineral oil alone.

I've used GF's Salad Bowl Finish, and although I like their product for certain projects, I've found that it leaves to hard of a finish on top of cutting boards (which then magnifies knife marks!) The mineral oil from the Butcher Block Conditioner penetrates the wood and the beeswax seals the pores. The softer finish of the beeswax shows less knife marks and gives the boards a very natural look and feel.
