For high pressure clamping, 90 degree clamping, or powerful spreading, the new K Body REVO is an ideal choice. Its large, parallel jaws are uniquely designed to distribute even pressure across the entire surface of your work to stop bowing, turning, and lifting. The K Body’s updated design includes three removable jaw protection caps to help prevent wear. They are repellent to glue, easily replaceable, and resist paint and grease solvents. A quick-release feature allows the movable jaw to slide up and down the rail by simply angling the comfortable Power-Grip handle. Plus, each clamp includes two slip-on workpiece supports that attach to the rail, providing a stable base and preventing direct contact between the clamp and the actual workpiece. Compatible with K-P clamp blocks and the K-Body Clamp Extender.

The clamps are excellent, but the plastic facing on the hand-screw portion of the clamp seems fragile. It can break during shipping, as others have noted. I would inspect the clamp in the store before buying. I have a number of Bessey clamps of various sizes. A feature I like very much is the extender which allows two clamps to be joined to make an even longer clamp, which I find useful for large cabinets. The K-P Blocks allow four clamps to be arranged, much like tic-tac-toe, to clamp a rectangular object, like edge banding on a door. The positions of the clamps are easy to adjust, and the blocks hold the clamps in place, while keeping the object flat. This greatly simplifies the clamping operation.

I have purchased both sizes of clamps and am very pleased with the overall quality of these clamps. I used them to glue boards together and found them to be very easy to use, adjust and are very sturdy. They are a A++++ item in my book....

It is really difficult to do much to parallel clamps, but the subtle changes with Bessey's Revo clamps do make a difference...the wider footprint on the clamping area and the two slip-on workpiece supports are definite plusses. For me the improved release mechanism and the smoother operation make ALL the difference in the world. I bought these clamps to help with the assembly of our Grandson's crib--they had to be right and we were not disappointed!

I like the new features on these clamps. The plastic pieces help keep the bar from picking up glue by keeping it up off the work, and the plastic end piece make it easier to hang up when not in use. The larger face is a plus as well. the clamp heads to slide smoother and easier than the new Jet brand parallel clamps so if I'm paying retail then these would be my choice.

I only have one other type of parallel clamp to compare these to- I have 6 Irwin parallel clamps. The Bessey clamps are lighter, are easier to use, and overall just feel better made. The Irwin clamps mar and knick the bars, they don't release very well.
I like the plastic pieces that help keep the workpiece off the bar, so you don't have to worry about the bar staining or denting the workpiece, helps to keep the clamp on straight as well.
The removable caps are nice as well, in case you ever scratch or ding one, you can just slip a new one on.
These are my new favorites, along with my Rockler aluminum bar clamps, of course.

I have 4 of the Jet clamps similar to these. The Bessey Revo's are every bit as good and slightly easier to adjust, since there is no trigger to depress like on the Jet clamps. The Bessey's will slide even when you wish they didn't, though. Not sure yet if that is any kind of an issue. It's just a slightly different mechanism. The clamping power is everything you could hope for. Bottom line, they just work, and work well. Highly recommended.

I've have to disagree with other reviews about these clamps. I would rate these clamps between 2 and 3 stars 2-fair, 3-good. Rockler recently had a deal on the 31" clamps so I bought four of them. When the box came not only did I have 4 clamps but I had about 30 pieces of broken plastic. None of the clamps survived the trip. The black plastic bar supports whatever you call them were shattered. Also, one of the four clamps had a large chunk taken out of it. I called Rockler and they were great as usual. They were very apologetic and shipped me a new clamp to replace my broken one. They said Bessey would ship the other plastic pieces. Well, after receiving the next clamp it too was cracked. This time it was the black plastic face on the clamp. This trend leads me to believe these aren't very well made clamps. I own several Jet clamps and they are FAR superior to these in every way. Everything about them feels more solid no plastic add-on junk to crack at the drop of a hat. Also, they still haven't fixed the lose heads that inadvertanly slide down the shaft to crack your knuckles when lifting the clamp the Jets don't slide - they have a nice trigger lock. I even prefer my old Besseys to these.

I would agree that these clamps are great for clamping. However, the black plastic parts such as the snap on rail supports, and the rail end stops are very fragile and break easily. I have a dozen or more of these in various sizes and sometimes they fall over in the shop, or get accidentally get pushed off the bench and these parts always break. It would be nice if they were made out of some less breakable material.

These clamps take too long to engage. Twist, twist, twist, twist, still nothing. You have to press the handle toward the bar while twisting to engage the clamp. Also, nothing locks the clamp head in position. It will occasionally slide down the bar, and slam into the other end. Nice large clamping surface, but I like Jet parallel clamps better. Bessey H style pipe clamps are good too.

They are not Jets. They are not Irwins - they are in between. I have no complaints about performance in clamping - they do so parallel and with plenty of force. They are easier to tighten than Irwins (which are my clamps of last resort). The major annoyance is that that the bar slides back and forth through the lower chamber whenever the clamp is not engaged. This makes vertical storage trickier and makes using them inconvenient and annoying - neither of which are good things during a glue up. I plan to stick with Jet clamps in all future purchasing - maybe if these go on a big sale. I will get them again. Irwin parallel clamps can't be cheap enough - not worth the space they take for storage.

The Revo-K model of clamp has a thin flange around the edges of the plastic face on both clamp heads. The flanges are very fragile. I ordered two clamps. One arrived with the fixed-base flange broken on one side. Rockler's great customer service associate immediately shipped a replacement which arrived with the fixed-base flange broken on both bottom corners and the top side! From the damage to my clamps during shipment, I surmise that the clamp flanges would break easily if you should drop or bang one in your shop. I bought these because of the Bessey reputation and the excellent project results obtained by using my old-style Besseys. I have not used the undamaged clamp yet, but you can bet that I will be careful with them when I eventually get to use them.
