Heavy Duty Lifting Leveler

Lipped mounting bracket works to lift and creates greater stability. Each leveler has load-bearing capacity of 600 pounds. Adjust to within 2-1/4'' . Minimum installation height is 3". Requires 5mm hex wrench to adjust.

Foot measures 1-1/4'' diameter. Bracket measures 2-1/8'' high x 2-1/8'' wide with M10 X 75 threaded post. Attaches with #10 x 3/4'' screws (included). Sold in sets of 4

As an afterthought, I decided to add the levelers after reading the reviews. It was built for my son-in-law, and I wasn't sure how level his basement floor was. Glad I did! The floor had almost a one inch drop from one end of the bench to the other. The levelers worked great and now he has a perfectly level bench. I would definitely recommend this product. I used 6 of these levelers on the frame to support the saw off the large casters I used. The levelers supported the saw very nicely. They allowed me to level the saw because my garage floor is sloped. All in all, great quality parts for the price paid. I am ordering another package to have on stand by for any other projects.

An option for rubber glide caps rather than plastic would be an improvement because out-of-balance loads still cause some shifting of the pedestal. Pay attention to the metric M10 thread size when buying lock nuts. These are not always easy to find at the home center.

Most recently, I created what I refer to as "Landing Gear" for my very heavy workbench. I also bought the wheels from Rockler. When I need to move the bench, I deploy the wheels and push it where it needs to be. When the bench is where I want it, I raise the wheels and allow the leg levelers to adapt to the terrain and bare all the weight and abuse.

5) Submitted by Don Inghram, from Spring Hill, FL on 6/9/2010 Customer Rating: Put 4 of these on a very, very heavy bench. In the neighborhood of 2,000#. They have worked excellent for the last 2yrs. I've used a 5mm allen wrench chucked up in a corless drill for fast leveling when the bench is moved. It goes up and down very easily for the weight it is moving.
