I use this blade for squaring green wood into blanks for turning on a lathe. It is excellent at resawing as well.

I have had trouble cutting 2 and a quarter inch stock for a jewelry box project until I bought this blade. Problem solved and I am well on my way to finishing the project.

Have been trying to resaw with a Craftsman 14" bandsaw. This blade made all the diffrernce in the world. Well worth what I paid for it

The blades have very little drift and make nice uniform cuts, essential for making thin cuts.

I recommend this blade at well worth the cost. It did a great job resawing hard maple on an older 12" Craftsman bandsaw.

I am primarily interested in quickly sawing soft to very soft material. These saws work great for this, and after searching the internet for low prices, Rockler's price was the lowest I could find.

The Olson blade allowed more finish product when making thin cut book marks and guitar picks. Minute drift even with variable wood densities. Well worth the price.

This seems to be a great blade. The kerf is so uniform and symmetrical that the blade drift is negligible.

I tried to use the 1/8" x 80 15tpi to cut 1" basswood carving blanks on an older Craftsman saw. The cuts were smooth but the teeth loaded up immediately and burned every piece. Speed of cut made no difference. Despite tensioning the blades according to the directions on the box the two blades I used each broke after about ten to fifteen minutes of running time. One had a single break and the other broke on the weld and about a foot away. I have used wider Olson blades for resawing on my 14" Delta with fewer problems (one 3/4" by 105 broke on the weld). The 1/8' blades are too thick for the small teeth and do not clear the sawdust. I recommend a thinner blade for scroll cuts. I feel I wasted my money on the 1/8" blades. Sorry to give them such a bad review but their performance was way below 1/8" blades which are 1/2 the cost and will cut far thicker wood without burning.

Customer Rating:
Resawing wood with the wrong blade is frustrating and dangerous. These blades addressed the ability to resaw lumber quickly and efficiently. The 3 TPI blades worked well and had minimal blade drift. They retained their sharpness after resawing lumber at my saws maximum resaw height of 7".
