Customer Reviews and Photos for: Rocking Doll Cradle Plan
I prefer to use dowels instead of metal fasteners in my projects and the Miller Dowell System helped me to overcome many of the problems I had with regular dowels. (I made this as a present for my granddaughter Kaylee on her second birthday. She's on the right sharing my project with her cousin Autumn). I like the way the black walnut dowels contrast with the red oak. I would like to see the Miller step bit be able to clear the hole out a little better without several passes to remove the wood shavings. I'm glad I bought the Miller Dowell System. I got the plan for this from Rockler.

A disappointment at any price. The last plan I ordered from Rockler had full sized drawings on poster sized paper so maybe I was expecting too much this time around. This is nothing more than a copy of the magazine article, (at least it is a color copy) complete with advertisement's for other products and a warning that there is an error with the full size plan. I assume since there is no full size plan I can safely ignore the warning. Aside from having exact measurements to work with, the plan is completely useless.

I am very unhappy because the plans are not 100 percent in size. You should be able to trace each section of the cradle on to the wood and cut it out. Since the plans are not full scale, they are useless to me.
"Recieved our order of glass and wire mesh. All items arrived intact, which was no surprise considering the impressive packaging.
I've dealt with what many companies consider appropriate packaging, which, at best is hit-and-miss.
The packaging methods you folks employ are second to none.
Thank you.
