LED bulbs surround a 5-inch
diameter, 5x magnifying glass so you can see every last detail. With a
powerful magnetic base, a clamping metal sub-base and a flexible arm, the
lamp anchors down on power tools, workbenches and more, then bends and
flexes its way into perfect position while staying out of your way. Great for
intricate cuts, miniature work, or whenever the naked eye simply won’t cut it.
The Magnifying Head is fully interchangeable
with our LED Spotlight Head (sold separately). Also sold separately: T-Track Bracket is great for adding light to operations on router tables, drill presses, and benchtops, and works with all universal t-tracks.

Optical quality of the lens is very good. I have 2700K LED lights in my kitchen and they render color well. These LEDs have a strong blue cast, as seen in the website pictures. This may not be a problem for most uses, but be aware before purchasing. My other caveat is: the LEDs are aimed for even illumination at about 13". Placing the lens closer than this to the viewed object will cause the center of the image to be less brightly illuminated than the perimeter. I am still very pleased with my purchase. Quality of construction is what I expect from Rockler. This has made detailed work like circuit board repair possible or me again.

I do small work, checkering and such things. I've tried visors, chest supported magnifiers, and other magnifier lamps and this is by far the best. The lens is big enough to see thru with both eyes without a lot of distortion, the brightness is excellent, and best of all I get a lot of magnification without having to be so very close to the work. I can stand up and work on an object on a bench with the magnifier between.

I bought this to use with sharpening equipment. It took a little use to focus when wearing glasses, but then the light is just right for the magnifier. My only problem is that the magnet is too strong....had to return mine after about 2 weeks when the light base broke away from the magnet base.

I use this light set to also work on my rc heli assembly. There are are alot of small parts and screws, the magififaction and light combo are a big help.

Excellent results when I used this product on my scroll saw. Light source is bright and magnifier very good. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys scroll sawing as I do. As always, with any purchase I have made from Rockler, the product arrived very fast-2 days. Service by Rockler-superior.

What a difference being able to see my work makes! I move it around to where I need it, drill press, band saw, vise, etc. Moves easily, adjusts well, strong magnets, and the handy steel clamp so I can mount it on the edge of my workbench. Great deal too!
