I like the heavy duty stand but would like to have the locking casters as standard. Felt that the price was a little high. Have used the stand and my new Porter Cable router on a night stand that I am building for my wife. I agree with one of the other comments that there needs to be instructions with the stand. I have done a lot of assembly and squared up the stand before tightening all the bolts. Also found that it is necessary to install certain bolts first and then tighten them so that you can get to the others with a socket easier. I was sort some mounting hardware but with a call Rockler had them replaced in a few days. I did find out that some of the screws for the Porter Cable mount were too long and had to find replacements locally. The screw heads of the local screws were to thick and when installed would interfere with the work piece. Had to grind all the heads down for clearance. Other than that everything worked to my satisfaction and did a good job. Being the first time to use the fence took some set up time. Again some basic use instructions would have been helpful.

Overall a great product but had problems with the router plate: the plate for the Bosch EVS 1617 router does not have a hole for the adjustment screw, one has to drill a hole in the plate. I did that per Rockler recommendation but went to Rockler's Router Lift as Bosch's adjustment system was too wimpy for router table adjustment (c-clip kept popping off) and I much rather have my Bosch mount available for other uses. The router lift made all the difference - great control (no 'wandering' due to vibrations as reported by others).

Stand is excellent, heavy duty metal, and very solid. The MDF table is a generous size and in my opinion, well supported. Unlike an other reviewer's experience, the machine screws for my router mounting plate were perfectly recessed, and leveling the plate was easily accomplished. The aluminum portion of the fence seems beefy. Overall, I am very happy and would buy one again. I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 because the dust port is an extra cost option, and featherboards or other accessories attach to slots in the MDF fence faces (not a big deal, but I'd prefer birch ply).

The table was very easy to set up and my Porter Cable router fit in perfectly. The table is so much better than the Craftsman table I used before. It is very easy to set up the cuts and then to maintain precison thorugh out the operations when making multiple pieces. I did enclse the base of the stand with plywood and added a dust collection port. This really worked well and does keep the shop much cleaner. This is a great product with a lot of value.

I have received my Rockler Router Table and Stand. It was a breeze to set up and I have attached my router to the table plate and begun using the equipment. I am amazed how well the router table works and I feel I have complete control of the router at all times. I am very please with this table even though it was an entry level router table. Overall I am very pleased with the table and am planning on ordering a few accessories for the router table after the 1st of the year.

I thought the table and stand were a bit over-priced. The table top arrived cracked, but a call to Rockler and they had a replacement shipped the same day. Kudos for Rockler. The stand didn't have any assembly instructions. It is easy to assemble, but I wish I had known not to tighten the bolts until after I mounted the table. It was all out of square/plumb, so I had to loosen all the bolts to square it away and level it, after the table was in place. The mounting screws to affix the table to the base were not in the hardware pack. Instructions for assembling the table and fence were not very good. This isn't a problem for experienced woodworkers but I just retired and taking it up as a new hobby, so I am starting from scratch. Neither the instructions for the table nor my Rockwell router told me to remove the base plate before mounting. I found that info in a DIY book, while waiting for my replacement table. Since I am a rookie, I don't have anything to compare this table/stand to. I will give Rockler 5-stars and the instructions/hardware 3 stars.

This is my first router table and I'm pleased, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Only callouts I had are it comes as 3 separate items without regard for them being assembled together. You'll need to provide your own fasteners for attaching the table to the legs. And the instructions could be better. But overall it's solid and should do the job.
