Premium features of the ProMaxRT:

  • Machined surface precision-grounded to within .008" - the flattest table on the market.
  • Offers more than 5 square feet of work surface
  • Dual-Track (with Universal T-track AND standard miter slot) is machined directly into the table's surface — true one-piece construction.
  • Houses virtually any router on the market with large 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" router plate opening
  • 12-point plate-leveling and locking system maintains a perfectly flush surface and prevents the plate (sold separately) from shifting during a cut.
Please Note: For best results, combine Bench Dog® tables with Bench Dog® accessories. Mixing components between brands may require additional hardware to ensure they work together appropriately.

Additional modifications are required to mount the Bench Dog® Cast Iron top to the Rockler Steel Stand #68834. To mount the Cast Iron top to the Rockler Steel Stand #68834, the Mounting Bracket Kit #24520 is required. The Cast Iron Top is not recommended for use with the Rockler Pine Stand #20878.

The #23117 Bench Dog® Steel Stand is recommended for this router table top.

An absolute necessity for the garage workshop... This extension hooked right up to my table saw without as much as a single problem. Leveling was dead on from the factory. I had a stack of metal shims ready and didn’t use a single one.

Besides being a rock solid router table it adds an extra 5" of width over my cast iron factory extension. This has come in really handy for working with larger pieces. Oh, and adjustment of the router insert isn't too bad either.

I have to admit, I was really skeptical about this item. I would never have thought it would have turned out this good. Highly recommend it if you're cramped for space like me.

The quality of this top is excellent. The big problem is that the insert is non standard size. If you try to but anything to fit such as a motorized lift, it won't fit. If you want to use Kreg's beaded face frame jig, it won't work because the T track is not the standard distance from the bit. I'm ready to heave it and start over.

This router table provides a perfectly flat table surface. Several of my previous projects have suffered from non-flat sagging surface caused by a heavy router. The cast iron table eliminates any trace of sag.

The weight of the router table top also helps the stability of the entire router table structure. I mounted it on top of an older Bench Dog cabinet style router table on a mobile base, and the extra weight helps keep the unit in place. Router vibration is significantly reduced and now has the feel (and accuracy) of a shaper.
