With a sleek design and integrated soft-closing action, these Salice hinges set a new standard for aesthetics and technology in a concealed hinge. Unlike
other soft-close models, the decelerating system is built directly into the hinge and stays out of sight under an attractive, integral cap. Unprecedented three-way cam adjustability allows for simple and precise door alignment. No add-on parts, so installation is a breeze and the
adjustment screws stay unobstructed. Self-lubricating, with a full 110° opening capacity. Bright nickel-plated steel construction. Available to accommodate a variety of overlays for frameless cabinets (see options below).
- Recommended for frameless cabinet applications
- Featuring soft-close functionality
- 110° Opening
- Three Way Adjustment
- Nickel Finish
Also available from Rockler:

Technical Details:
- Cup diameter: 35 mm
- Cup depth: 13.5mm
- Nylon gear
- Bright nickel-plated steel construction
- Self-lubricating
- Full 110° opening capacity
- Decelerating system is built directly into the hinge and stays out of sight
- Three-way cam adjustability
- Available to accommodate a variety of overlays for frameless cabinets
Note:The included spacer applies to situations where drilling a 13.5 mm cup hole risks boring through the face of the door (e.g. if the door's thickness is reduced by a profiled edge). It adds 1.2 mm of space ''above'' the surface of the door, allowing for a shallower cup hole while maintaining proper hinge function.

Here's something to consider when selecting hinges...
Look at your cabinet design before selecting hinges. On Eurostyle cabinets,
hinges are attached directly to the cabinet side. This gives you the option
of fully overlaying, half overlaying or insetting the door within the opening,
as shown below:
Overlay
Applications
If you decide to use an overlay cabinet design, select full overlay hinges
for the ends and half overlay hinges in the middle of a row of cabinets.
Inset Applications
Inset doors are recessed into the cabinet carcass to create a completely
flush, clean-lined look. |
|
Self-closing hinges are an ideal for cabinets. The built-in spring pulls the door closed and holds it in a closed position, eliminating the need for catches.
Soft-closing hinges have an adjustable action that, when your door is pushed closed, automatically takes over and brings your door to a whisper-soft close.
Free-swing hinges are most often used in furniture applications, rather than cabinet applications. |
|
| Use
the chart to determine how many hinges you'll need for the height and weight
of your door.
A door
that is 43'' high and weighs 14 lbs. requires three hinges. If your door
is only 24'' high but weighs 14 lbs., go with three hinges for maximum
support and stability.
Use
on 5/8'' - 3/4'' doors unless otherwise noted. |

Great Hinges and the multi-axis adjustment allows for a perfect fit. I offer the following to those who seem to have trouble getting the self-close to close all the way. If the cup is not deep enough, the bottom of the cup presses up against the hinge cup preventing the self-close feature from properly working. Try drilling the hole a little deeper or use the plastic spacer.

Great hinges with excellent adjustability. The pockets are a bit deep so I was a bit worried I'd punch out the roman ogee sides, but the spacers gave me some room to play and everything worked out well.

I selected these hinges for a special cabinet project and a very demanding client. The hinges worked perfectly and the client was very pleased. Everybody was a winner. Best "Euro Style" hinges I have ever used.

I had purchased these to soften the closing on a toy chest lid. The installation instructions did not seem to have the correct dimensions for proper installation, and the soft close feature did not work with my lid. I'm sure they would work just fine on a cabinet door though.

I loved the adjustability feature on these hinges and was pleased with the way that I was able to get the door in just the right place. I had a lot of trouble at first trying to get the hole in the door drilled to receive the cup. Even with the spacer I was very close to coming through the face of the door with the tip on the forstner. The soft close feature did not work at all. In the end I had to put on magnetic catches to keep the door closed. The door would swing shut and stop at about ten degrees then it would just stay there. I was very dissatisfied with these hinges and for the price I paid they should have worked seamlessly. My recommendation is if you need to get a hinge like this don't get the soft close. I rated fair because of the adjustability.

Very deep pockets, have to be very careful not to put the tip of the bit through the face of the door. Could not get several to close all the way, would close to within about 2 inches and stop. I assumed it was an alignment issue, but no amount of alignment would make them all work. You will need to use magnetic catches. Should work better for the cost.
