Works well with their 4" clear hose. Make sure you get the right one for your hose.

These clamps work very nicely and are easy to use. They can be finger tightened, which is much easier that using a screwdriver on a plumbing clamp. The offset in the band allows it to rest in the space between reinforcing wires on the hose. It is important to note that it works only when the wire helix moves clockwise along the length of the tube. I had one tube that was counter-clockwise and it took me a while to understand why the clamp doesn't work at all in that situation.

Excellent clamp. Clamps the DC hose to the tool's 4 inch outlet very well as it follows the spiral spring of the hose unlike a standard hose clamp that just don't work with the dust collector hose at all and it is easy to use with the thumb screw type adjuster, no tools needed.
Don't even hesitate, order a bunch of these excellent clamps and just forget clamping problems on your clear dust collection hoses.

By far the easiest and best holding clamp that I have found and used. They hold very securely. They are much easier to handle on/off than other clamps on the market. They help get that warm and fuzzy feeling going knowing that there is just one more shop variable that I don'y have to worry about.

The premise behind this product is sound. It is a versatile option for small shops where hoses can be switched from machine to machine. But, I bought an expensive heavy-duty clear 4" hose where the wire spiral unfortunately spun the wrong direction and will not work. YOU MUST HAVE A HOSE WITH CLOCKWISE SPIRAL WIRES! So be certain before you buy.

Simply the best, the best just got better, this is one of those simple changes that makes a good idea better. The bridging the wire effect of the band is strong enough for dust systems and couple it with the a strong finger blue key and you have a clamp that does not need a screw driver to install, and grabs fast and true. I always seemed to be all thumbs when trying to hold a hose to a fixture and operate a screw driver on a band, not one of my favorite things to do. Not anymore I'll enjoy moving this should I ever need to, regular 4" hose bands can go in a yard sale.

The clamps are extremely easy to use and convenient. You can get surprisingly more than enough torque and tightness on on the clamp/hose with the thumbscrew. It is an ingenious design that makes so much sense you wonder why such clamps weren't on the market longer. They only work with certain kinds of hoses. I have a 4" hose from Peach Tree woodworking and that hose is more rigid with more spiraling, so the bridge clamps don't fit that hose properly. But for the hoses Rockler sells (which is the same style that most dust collection flex hoses are elsewhere too) these clamps are perfection!

Look like they might work well but when I received them I found out that they were made backwards from what the spiral was on my dust collection hose. So make sure they are compatible with the direction of spiral on your hose. My hose didnt come from Rockler. I just thought the description could have mentioned that they fit only certain hoses then I would have known to check first.

Very well made product and a great solution to another one of those problems that I had just ignored for years. But make sure you have right hand hoses first! Curl the fingers of your right hand around the hose and stick our your thumb like you are hitching a ride. If the hose "screws" in the direction of your thumb, it is a right hand hose and the clamps will fit. If it "screws" toward your little finger, it is a left handed hose and they won't work.

These are excellent clamps. I am using them with the Rockler standard dust collection hose. I was unaware that hoses were oriented in different directions but I can tell you that these fit the Rockler hoses perfectly, and the Rockler hoses are great as well. I really debated spending the extra money (these are significantly more than buying standard worm clamps) but they were well worth it. Bought both the 2.5" and 4"... love them.

I believe clamps would work fine if spiral went in right direction. Got these to clamp on FlexForm Hose part#29812 and found out hose has left hand spiral, but clamp is for right hand spiral. Probably works on clear flex hose OK since I have 2 1/2 inchers that fit 2 1/2 inch clear flex hose OK.

They need to make these in left-hand and right-hand and then how to order the correct one. Still usable and work very well with the thumb screw, but do not seat as pictured on my (not Rockler brand) hoses.

Work much better than standard hose clamps and make a much tighter seal. One of the keys snapped in two while I was turning it (and not from overtightening... the plastic seems a bit flimsy).

These are great clamps. I have the clear Rockler 4" hoses and the fit is perfect.
Just note that if you have collection hoses that spiral the opposite way, these are probably not for you.

It amazes me that such a simple innovation has taken so long to hit the market. They are definitely a welcome addition to my shop. Thanks Rockler.

I've used both the 4" and 2-1/2" versions of these clamps, and they're great. Strong and easy to use, and they fit right-handed spiral tubing terrifically. (Right-handed, as in thread - most Rockler hose is right-handed, except the Flexform hose, which is left-handed.)

This clamp is an improvement over a regular clamp requiring a screwdriver or nut wrench to tighten the clamp.

These clamps work well if you have tiny hands and no need for a tight clamp. The butterfly that you turn is way to small for "big-boy" hands. They also do not have the ability to tighten enough for a good hold. My opinion is that the screw type are much better!

Seems like a good idea, but has the wrong spiral for my hoses. Could have been a little more clear that there was only one spiral available. Would be even better if they just sold clamps for both types, I'm pretty unlikely to replace my hoses just so I can use these.

Works as advertised, by be advised: As clamps, they work fine as long as you are mindful not to over-tighten them tears at the hump and deforms the clamp . They are MARGINALLY compatible with metal blast gates with relatively short flanges. You can't easily get complete purchase on the flange. I haven't tried them with plastic gates but anticipate the same result. They are NOT compatible with blast gate mounting brackets which really want the clamp to be in one plane. I tried it anyway and found that the position of the hump in the clamp made it very hard to position the clamp satisfactorily in the whole assembly. Coupled with the other issue surrounding blast gates, basically I'd say use these for fittings only, not gates.

Very nice improvement over conventional hose clamps. The bridge eliminates that annoying problem of aligning a clamp with the spiral wires. And, the thumb screw is a great convenience for hoses you have to move from tool to tool.
