With a unique triple chip tooth design, this 10'' blade leaves extremely smooth, true surfaces for glue and finish work. Ideal for ripping hard and soft woods 1/8'' to 1'' thick.

Technical Details:
  • A super-thin .091" kerf requires less power and allows for a faster feed rate, while laser-cut anti-vibration slots drastically reduce vibration and sideways movement in the cut, extending blade life and giving a crisp, swirl-free flawless finish.
  • Application-specific super micrograin carbide teeth are 50-60% larger than standard carbide teeth and allow for multiple re-sharpenings.
  • Anti-vibration technology eliminates sideways movement against the material for a quieter, smoother cut with a superior finish and long cutting life.
  • Laser-cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand during use to keep the cut true and straight.
  • Permanent red Teflon coating prevents rust and guarantees less working friction and resin adhesion.
  • Precision-tensioned blade bodies made of high strength steel (40–45 Rc) stay flat and true throughout years of service.

While I have used Freud blades before, this was the first time with a LM75R010 thin kerf glue line rip blade. It performed even better than anticipated or advertised. I used it for cutting a glued lamination on an angle to make a zig zag pattern for a cutting board. The laminations re-glued with no discernible glue line gaps.

I'm a slow learner :) After some 30+ years of woodworking, I finally realized that most of what I do on my table say is ripping, so I recently bought the Freud LM75R Thin Kerf Glue Line Rip blade. I have used a Freud blade before and loved it. But THIS blade... I wish I would have bought one long long ago. It cut my walnut boards like a hot knife through butter, and left an almost glass-smooth finish. And, oddly, the blade is noticeably quieter—with my ear protection on, it just sort of whispers as it goes through the wood.

I have used Freud saw blades for at least 5 years now. The ripping blades do indeed give you a glue joint ready cut. I was able to rip 1 3/4 inch hard maple into 3/8 slats for a crib. I had very little sanding following these cuts, there were just a few saw marks on about 8 out of 46 slats.
