Purchased six of these slides for a chest of drawers I am building. Quality is excellent, slides move without binding and are easily installed. Thank you, Rockler for a fine product.

I know this is not the intended use for this type of slide, but it worked great on this pull out. On the right side of the cabinet I installed a slide out of which accomodates over 100 1/4" dowel. The dowels hold spools of thread for easy access. Shelves on the left side for more storage of sewing accessories.

I got a pair of the 28" drawer slides and was installing them into the bottom of an end table I had built. These lower drawers will be toy boxes for my daughter's toys, so they are necessarily deep and the 28" extension was great.
The only problem I had was one of the slides was defective. After sliding the assembled drawer members into the cabinet members, I heard something falling onto the floor inside the cabinet. I thought my daughter had left some toys on the dust frame, but it turned out they were the ball bearings from one of the slides. There is a sliding rack that keeps the ball bearings in place, and there is are a pair of punched tabs that keep that rack from sliding out. Well, one of the slides had these tabs and the other one didn't. I know Rockler would have replaced them, but with the members already installed and Rockler 45 minutes from home, I just inserted the little ball bearings back where they belonged (a tedious process that took 15 minutes), drilled a hole where the tabs should be, screwed in a machine screw that I had ground down to keep it from interfering with the mechanism and moved on. It slides just fine now, and the ball bearings are staying put.
