2) Submitted by Chris, from Seattle, WA on 10/18/2009 Customer Rating: Holster is a joke. The level is great. Checkpoint make excellent gear, but a lot of their levels are not made in the USA anymore. This level is, as the picture shows, made in the USA so this is a bargain, get one.

The level seems rugged, solid, and the laser works. I wish there were some instructions included. There are some pictures on the packaging that suggest uses. The attached steel bevel is solid, but I'll have to figure out why it's there. The biggest confusion is with the included holster. With the steel bevel attached to the level, the level won't fit into the holster. In fact, with the bevel removed, the top strap on the holster barely closes (and then what do you do with the bevel, nut, and screw). Now, I didn't buy this to get the holster, so it's not a huge deal. I'd just like to see the inventor actually demonstrate what's supposed to happen here.
