Just got this in the mail yesterday. I bought it with gift cards from Christmas and got it on sale for a very low price. I spent a good amount of time setting it up according to the very well written instructions and making several test cuts. Everything was dead on accurate. This is my first experience with Incra products, but if the fit, finish, and attention to detail is indicative of all of their products it definitely won't be my last. The only problem I could find with this miter gauge is it is too good for my tablesaw. Now I'm gonna need to buy a new one. This gauge would've been a great purchase at it's regular price, but at the sale price Rockler had it for it's a steal and worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

This miter gauge is worth every penny. I got it on sale with free shipping so it was even a better deal than normal. The adjustable miter bar gives you a zero play miter gauge. The adjustable stops makes repeatable cuts easy. The gauge comes with hardware to mount a backing board to the fence so everything you need is in the box.
So far I have been extremely happy with all the Incra products I have and this is no exception.

I purchased this item so my wife could give it to me for a Christmas present!! I could not be happier or more impressed with the item. A bit of assembly and I had it on my table saw. Now The adjustment process, NONE! It was absolutely square to my saw! I have now had the pleasure of using it several times now. It is such a quality piece. I did get it on sale prior to christmas so this was such a bonus. I read on one of the reviews about the teeth getting rounded off. I am not even sure how this could happen but do not ever think that this will be an issue. Don't hesitate, this is an excellent addition to your shop.

Wow, I am very impressed with the accuracy and repeatability of this miter gauge. I also own a v100, but this gauge will be your go to favorite if you take the time to set it up right. Thank you Incra.

Great miter gauge. Incra continues to produce ingenious, well built tools that give hobbyist woodworkers the ability to produce profesional quality work. Worked just as advertised. Rockler was great as well.

This would be a great tool if it wasn't so fragile. I bought this Nov 2011 and noticed during setup that the Pin that engages the tooth gauge was bent almost to a 90 degree angle and the 0 tooth on the gauge was damaged. I still find it useful by using the micro gauge to line up the proper angles. Sorry if I got the proper names of these parts wrong. And before anyone asks, no I did not contact Customer Service because I wasn't sure if this was something I did or not. The folks at Rockler have been VERY good to me in the past.

This miter gauge is the highest quality made. The accuracy is without compare. Out of the box, I needed to adjust it, but it proved easy and repeatable after. I have used it in conjunction with Incra's sled along with a number of home built jigs. The versatility is limitless as I used it in some creative situations.

Great price for a great tool. Unfortunately the extra expansion disks didnt expand enough to make gliding action completely rattle free on my Powermatic 64A, even while using the largest disk.

This is an excellent tool. Quality is first rate. Easy setup. Works as well as or better than advertised. Made a first rate picture frame the first day. Sale price made it a steal. Rockler's handling of transaction was superb.

My project requied mortise and tenon joints with the tenon pieve coming in at a 89 degree angle. Fortunately the 1000 HD was on sale and was exactly what I needed to cut the tenon shoulders at 2 degrees. Very well made and accurate. I'm not sure I could have done this with anything less precise.

I bought this on sale and I am glad I did. The workmanship on this is very nice. The set up was easy and straight forward. Changing the angle requires moving the fence, but with the included tool it is very easy. The length gauge works fine for me, it locks into place in set increments and then the fine adjustment is handled with the sliding bar.
This is so much better than the basic miter gauge and especially for the price I am very satisfied.

I got this product recently. I tried to set it with my table saw and do all the adjustment following the instructions provided. However I am still stuck with the issue that it is not perpendicular to the surface of the table. According to the instruction I need to add some paper shim in some place. I would like to say it seems not a very good design.

Setup is straight forward. I have been using this miter gauge for about six months now. If you don't keep the saw dust off of it it is pretty hard to adjust. I'm not talking about alot of saw dust either. The flip top stop is hard to keep in the same position all of the time. Other then that it is a O.K. Miter Gauge. I think that the price is a little high. I don't think that I would pay the price for it with the two short comings it has.

The promised accuracy seems lacking. More difficult to use than expected. The measuring scale on top of the fence to set the stop is moveable. Knock against it, it moves. Vibration of the saw moves it. Getting the same measurement twice is not likely. Why no set screw? Tool must be recalibrated every time you change angle. .
The adjustment to get a snug fit in the miter gauge slot of the saw did not expand enough to get that snug fit on my saw.
These are obviously things that could be remedied with a little more thought. This seems just not the high-quality tool it's promoted to be. It looks to me like good ideas that were not well executed. I'm quite disappointed.

Lots of great features. After doing the steps for setup in the intructions though I found that the fence was not square to the table of my saw. The angle piece that holds it to the bar was out of square quite a bit. The intructions said to use strips of paper to shim it square. I had some .001 shim stock and after much trial and error I got it close. I emailed INCRA about it and after many weeks got a response. They said this only matters when you hold a workpiece tight to the fence instead of putting pressure down to the table. I build a lot of picture frames with narrow pieces that should be held tight to the fence. I am pleased with the miter gauge but think that a high end tool should have been square out of the box.

I have a very hard time believing that it took "many weeks" for Incra to respond. I have been in contact since my interest in this product, and have several email addresses already. I just received my Miter 1000HD and sent a email on the fit and finish and received a response from the dude's Cell Phone. I think you may be fibbing a little on the response time of Incra. I don't know about your issues with the item, but they MOST definitely respond QUICKLY, so stop fibbing...OK

This gauge doesn't have a single machined part, the accuracy depends on a piece of stamped metal that connect to the alunimum fence. Maybe you get lucky and maybe you don't. The instructions are terrible but you can get through them. There are no instructions on what to do if you can't get your gauge to be exactly 90 degrees or even how to check accuracy of this gauge. Check YouTube for a video on how to calibrate this. The flip up stop needs to have the bolts tightened otherwise when your cutting angled pieces it has a tendency to flip up a bit creating inaccurate cuts. A better idea would have been to put a metal piece in the aluminum fence and a magnet on the flip stop so that doesn't happen.
