Use these soft-gripped clamps to ensure perfectly flush pocket-hole joint lines every time. Without clamping, the joint can misalign if the screw follows the grain of the wood. These clamps eliminate that threat and deliver cleaner, more precise fits. 10'' Reach.

Also available in two other sizes: Premium (3-1/4'' reach) and Large (6'' reach).

Each clamp features a soft, rubber handle for comfortable operation. To use the clamps, place the large pad of the clamp direclty over the center of the joint line on the face side of the workpiece (opposite the pocket holes), clamp with moderate pressure and drive a screw.

I use pocket hole joinery whenever it is feasible in my projects. This was the first project were I needed to put to 1x8s together for the top. Using pocket hole joinery as my choice for joining the two pieces, I needed the 10" depth Kreg clamp to ensure proper alignment. It worked like a charm and it will definitely be my choice of joining boards.

As the description states, this clamp gets the job done when aligning pocket hole joints but I use it for alot more than that. This clamp is invaluable when edge joining boards for table tops and other projects that involve wide boards joined with biscuits, loose tenons or dowels. I use the Kreg clamp as a batten to align edges prior to edge clamping. The 10" reach makes it perfect, especially if you have several of these to use at the same time. Once the outside clamps are tightened, the Kreg clamp can be removed to allow easy glue clean up. When the glue dries, the piece requires very little sanding to achieve a nice flat surface. Your shop should have at least 4 of these. They will save a ton of time and work.
