With this it only takes 2 marks and you can cut to the right position every time

I used it this last weekend and was able to measure for an outside bullnose crown molding piece correctly the very first time. No extra trips up and down the stairs to trim the pieces...no more guess work! This would be fantastic for a pro trim carpenter or the weekend warrior like myself! The price is great too!
