Hold Down Clamp, 5-1/2''L x 1-1/8''W

These Hold Down Clamps feature non-marring rubber tips that are ideal for working with soft woods, pre-finished panels, or anything that’s already been prep sanded. The rubber clamp faces also help to grip the workpiece for better safety and accuracy. In addition, they have a wide aluminum body, allowing for maximum tension. Clamps include a 5-star knob and a 5/16" T-bolt designed to fit into T-tracks on drill presses, router tables and more.

The Hold Down Clamp, 5-1/2"L x 3/4"W provides the same great features as the 5-1/2"L x 1-1/8"W version, but in a slimmer width and without the non-marring rubber tips.

1) Submitted by Darrell, from Pasadena, TX on 7/18/2011 Customer Rating: You won't be disappointed with these clamps. I know I wasn't. I use them mainly at the drill press, but have also used them for holding pieces to my panel sled at the table saw. They hold pieces tightly and I have yet to have one slip on me. I don't think its fair for other reviewers to have dinged these clamps because the T-bolts didn't fit there drill presses. In my opinion, that has nothing to do with the quality of this product or how well it works. If the T-bolts don't fit your press, just grind them down till they fit or get T-bolts that will fit. I have the new delta press with the large adjustable table and they fit just fine. These clamps are a great product and will probably last forever whatever that is. Git Er Done!

Mine is a Delta with a cast iron table. The t-bolts fit without any grinding or modifying. The clamps have great pressure, hold well, and are convenient to use. Great product!

I use it almost exclusively on my drill press but have been considering it for my router table, a use several others have found fruitful. Its compact design keeps it out of the way when maneuvering work pieces but it keeps a solid grip when needed. If you need something like this, get this one. There are others that have longer screw stems and bulkier hold downs that get in the way most of the time. Highly recommended for a specific use.
